Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round via TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final bout in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina with her ground and pound tactics which resulted in an TKO second-round victory. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
