Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake (born July 23 of 1976) is a NASCAR reporter and college football and basketball journalist for Fox Sports. Before being hired by Fox Sports, Spake worked at ESPN. She has contributed to SportsCenter's pre- and post-game news reports. Additionally, she was the sideline reporter of ESPN basketball and college football matches, she covered the SEC. Spake was also a reporter for SEC Network (owned by ESPN). Prior to joining ESPN, Spake worked at Speed Channel, where she co-hosted NASCAR Nation in its second version (June until November 2005) and also worked as a reporter for the first edition (February until the month of June in 2005). Additionally, she hosted Back Seat Drivers, a talk show, with writer for the online edition Marty Smith. Her prior on-air positions included WCCB in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
